On July 6, 1999, the United States Department of Commerce's office of Tourism Industries announced that the Western New York
Underground Railroad Tour, a 2-day tour developed by Motherland Connextions, Inc. of Niagara Falls, NY, was designated
as an official American Pathways 2000 itinerary. The itinerary, designed by Motherland Connextions was part of a group of
seventy-four selected from one hundred twenty-seven submitted tours. As a designated itinerary, the Western New York
Underground Railroad Tour will be posted on the official American Pathways 2000 web page, at
http://www.americanpathways.com.
